About the Client:

Our client is a well-established commercial roofing contractor operating throughout the Southeast, known for delivering complex re-roofing and new construction projects for institutional, industrial, and commercial clients. With a strong backlog and long-term growth strategy, they prioritize quality execution, safety, and repeat client relationships.


Position Overview:

The Project Manager will lead commercial roofing projects from pre-construction through closeout. This role is responsible for managing schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and client communication while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within scope.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple commercial roofing projects from award through final closeout

  • Oversee budgeting, scheduling, and cost controls on projects ranging from $2M–$10M+

  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and internal field teams

  • Review contracts, scopes, submittals, RFIs, and change orders

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, GCs, and consultants

  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality requirements, and project specifications


Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of project management experience in commercial roofing

  • Strong knowledge of low-slope systems (TPO, EPDM, modified bitumen, metal roofing)

  • Proven ability to manage schedules, budgets, and client relationships

  • Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office

  • OSHA 30 preferred

  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills


Day-to-Day:

  • Lead project kickoff meetings and coordinate internal handoffs

  • Track job costs, billings, and forecast project financials

  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress and resolve field issues

  • Communicate daily with superintendents, clients, and vendors

  • Review and approve invoices, change orders, and pay applications

  • Manage project documentation and reporting through Procore


Compensation & Benefits:

  • $120,000–$140,000 base salary depending on experience
