About the Client:
Our client is a well-established commercial glass and glazing subcontractor delivering complex façade systems on high-profile commercial and mixed-use projects throughout New York City and the surrounding metro area. They specialize in curtain wall, window wall, storefront, and architectural cladding systems and are known for their ability to execute challenging, design-driven façades in dense urban environments.
Position Overview:
The Project Manager will lead commercial façade projects from pre-construction through final delivery. This role is responsible for coordinating engineering, procurement, fabrication, and field installation while managing schedules, budgets, and client relationships on high-visibility projects.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage façade and glazing projects from pre-construction through closeout

Oversee curtain wall, glazing, and cladding scopes on commercial and mixed-use projects

Coordinate schedules, budgets, procurement, and subcontractor activities

Lead project meetings with owners, general contractors, and consultants

Manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, and contract documentation

Track job costs and ensure financial performance aligns with projections
Qualifications:

5+ years of project management experience in commercial glass, glazing, or façade construction
-
Strong technical knowledge of curtain wall, window wall, storefront, and cladding systems
-
Experience working on mid-rise to high-rise projects in urban environments

Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office

Strong communication, coordination, and client-facing skills
-
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
Day-to-Day:
-
Review drawings, specifications, and façade details for constructability

Coordinate with engineering and fabrication teams on shop drawings and lead times
-
Manage field schedules and support superintendents during installation

Conduct site visits to address technical issues and sequencing challenges
-
Communicate daily with GCs and ownership teams on progress and changes

Maintain project documentation, reporting, and cost tracking
Compensation & Benefits:

$130,000–$155,000 base salary depending on experience
