Our client is a well-established commercial roofing contractor serving the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex. Known for quality workmanship, efficient project delivery, and a strong commitment to safety, they specialize in large-scale reroofing, new construction, and maintenance programs for industrial, commercial, and institutional customers. With steady repeat business and a growing pipeline, they are expanding their project management team to support increased demand.


Position Overview:

The Commercial Roofing Project Manager will oversee multiple roofing projects from contract award through closeout. This role leads scheduling, budgeting, subcontractor coordination, procurement, quality control, and client communication to ensure safe and successful project delivery. The ideal candidate brings strong experience with low-slope roofing systems and thrives in a fast-paced, field-focused environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage commercial roofing projects from kickoff through final turnover

  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and manpower plans

  • Coordinate roofing crews, subcontractors, and material suppliers

  • Review drawings, specs, submittals, and project documents

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, GCs, and vendors

  • Lead jobsite meetings and conduct regular site walks for progress, quality, and safety

  • Prepare, track, and manage RFIs, change orders, and project documentation

  • Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and company safety protocols

  • Oversee project closeout, punch lists, warranties, and financial wrap-up


Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of commercial roofing project management experience

  • Strong technical knowledge of TPO, PVC, EPDM, mod bit, and BUR systems

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and subcontractor teams

  • Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar construction management platforms

  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and roofing specifications

  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to DFW-area jobsites

  • Degree in Construction Management or related field preferred but not required


Day-to-Day:

  • Review project scope, plans, and schedules each morning

  • Coordinate with superintendents, crews, subcontractors, and suppliers

  • Conduct on-site inspections to monitor safety, progress, and workmanship

  • Review and approve daily reports, delivery tickets, and job cost updates

  • Maintain open communication with clients and GC partners on project status

  • Prepare and manage RFIs, change orders, and progress billings

  • Resolve field issues quickly to keep the project on schedule

  • Update project logs, documentation, and internal reporting systems
