Our client is a well-established commercial glass and glazing subcontractor serving the Houston market and greater Texas. Known for delivering high-quality curtain wall, storefront, and window wall systems, they support a diverse portfolio of commercial, institutional, and mid-rise projects. With continued growth forecasted across the region, they are expanding their project management team to strengthen delivery and support a busy pipeline.
Position Overview:
The Project Manager will oversee multiple commercial glazing projects from contract award through closeout. This role requires strong coordination skills, the ability to manage several jobs at once, and confidence working with general contractors, vendors, and field teams. The ideal candidate brings glazing experience, can run projects independently, and thrives in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of active work.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage commercial glass and glazing projects from kickoff through completion

Oversee schedules, budgets, RFIs, submittals, procurement, and contract compliance

Coordinate closely with fabrication teams, suppliers, and field leadership

Maintain strong communication with GC partners and project stakeholders

Review drawings and ensure scope alignment throughout project lifecycle

Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety

Manage change orders, billing schedules, and project documentation
Qualifications:

3–7+ years of project management experience in commercial glazing or façade systems

Strong technical knowledge of curtain wall, window wall, storefront, and aluminum systems
-
Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office
-
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a high-volume environment

Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
-
Degree in Construction Management or a related field preferred
Day-to-Day:

Review drawings, submittals, and project updates

Communicate daily with GCs, vendors, and internal teams
-
Track material procurement and delivery timelines

Monitor installation progress and resolve field issues
-
Update schedules, budget reports, and documentation in project management software

Attend jobsite meetings and internal coordination sessions

Support closeout activities and ensure project handoff accuracy
Compensation & Benefits:

$90,000–$115,000 base salary depending on experience
