About the Client:
Our client is a growing commercial façade contractor specializing in curtainwall, storefront, window wall, and architectural metal panel systems across the Southeast. With a strong pipeline of mid- to high-rise projects and continued expansion into new markets, they are building a best-in-class preconstruction team to support increasing demand.
Position Overview:
The Estimator will play a critical role in preparing accurate and competitive bids for commercial façade projects. This individual will work closely with project managers, suppliers, and leadership to analyze drawings, perform takeoffs, and develop comprehensive pricing strategies for curtainwall, glazing, and metal panel scopes.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed estimates for curtainwall, window wall, storefront, and ACM/metal panel systems

Perform quantity takeoffs from architectural drawings and specifications

Solicit and level vendor and subcontractor pricing

Develop material, labor, and equipment cost breakdowns

Assist in bid strategy, scope reviews, and proposal preparation

Attend pre-bid meetings and support client inquiries

Maintain and update historical cost databases
Qualifications:

3+ years of estimating experience in commercial glazing or façade systems

Strong knowledge of curtainwall assemblies, aluminum framing, and metal panel systems

Proficient in Bluebeam, Excel, and takeoff software (PlanSwift or similar)

Ability to read and interpret architectural and shop drawings

Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail

Excellent communication and deadline management skills
Day-to-Day:

Review new bid invitations and analyze project scope

Complete takeoffs and build detailed cost models

Coordinate with suppliers for glass, aluminum, and panel pricing

Collaborate with internal teams to confirm constructability

Finalize and submit competitive proposals

Track bid results and maintain organized documentation
Compensation & Benefits:

$100,000–$115,000 base salary (DOE)
