About the Client:
Our client is a leading commercial façade contractor specialising in high-rise glazing, curtain wall, storefront and façade systems. They maintain a robust pipeline of projects across the Phoenix metropolitan area and are known for delivering high-quality façades on time, safely and with a collaborative field team culture.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a field-based Superintendent to lead onsite glazing installations (curtain wall, storefront and façade systems) in the Phoenix, AZ market. In this role you will drive field operations from mobilisation through to turnover, ensure schedule, quality and safety targets are met, and supervise subcontractors and crew. You’ll be the on-site owner’s representative for our client in the field and act as the “go-to” for installation execution, logistics, coordination and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead day-to‐day field operations for glazing/façade installation projects (curtain wall, storefront, unitised systems)

Coordinate subcontractors, material deliveries, crane/inclement weather logistics and site access

Develop and maintain the installation schedule, monitor progress and drive productivity

Ensure installation quality meets shop drawings, specifications, mock-ups and project standards

Enforce and promote safe work practices, lead toolbox talks and ensure compliance with OSHA, corporate safety policies

Collaborate with project management, engineers, shop, QA/QC and client reps to resolve field issues

Monitor labour, equipment usage and cost performance; report status and flags to the project manager

Conduct field inspections, punch lists, turn-over inspections and ensure final completion to client satisfaction
Qualifications:
-
Minimum 5-10 years Superintendent (or equivalent) experience on commercial façade/glazing installations (curtain wall/storefront/façade)

Proven ability to lead on-site teams, subcontractors and crews in a façade/glazing context

Strong understanding of curtain wall systems, storefront, stick/glazed storefront, anchorage, sealants, glazing logistics and safety in elevated work zones
-
Comfortable working in the field in the Phoenix area, with some travel between sites as required

Excellent communication, problem-solving and leadership skills

Safety-oriented mindset, strong familiarity with OSHA and jobsite safety protocols

Valid driver’s license required; glass/glazing scaffold and rigging experience preferred
Day-to-Day:
-
Morning field walk with foreman / leads to review previous day progress, identify issues and align on plan

Review today’s logistics: crane lifts, material deliveries, elevation access, weather considerations

Coordinate subcontractors and trades, ensure interface between curtain wall/glazing and other trades (structure, façade, MEP)

Conduct quality inspections of shop-installation interfaces, sealant/flashings, anchorage and glazing alignment

Update schedule and progress report to project manager; escalate major issues early

After hours (as needed) respond to emergencies or schedule shifts to maintain critical path
Compensation & Benefits:

Base salary: $110,000–$135,000 depending on experience and project value
