About the Client:

Our client is a well-established general contractor based in Greensboro, NC. They deliver a variety of commercial projects for repeat private-sector clients, with a focus on quality and long-term partnerships.

Position Overview:

The Senior Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate estimates and defining scope of work for a range of commercial projects. This role is ideal for someone with strong design-build and conceptual estimating experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare cost estimates and budgets for commercial projects

• Define project scope and review plans and specifications

• Analyze subcontractor bids and proposals

• Support project teams during preconstruction and client presentations

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in commercial construction estimating

• Strong background in design-build and conceptual estimating

• Knowledge of private-sector development projects

• Excellent analytical and communication skills

Day-to-Day:

• Review project documents and develop cost estimates

• Communicate with subcontractors and vendors for pricing

• Participate in internal and client-facing meetings

• Track market costs and maintain estimating records

Compensation & Benefits:

• $130,000–$150,000 base salary + bonuses
