About the Client:

Our client is an established commercial glass and glazing contractor with a strong presence across Central Texas. They deliver curtain wall, storefront, window wall, and specialty façade systems for commercial, institutional, and mixed-use projects. With a steady backlog and a collaborative team environment, they are known for quality installations and strong GC partnerships.


Position Overview:

The Senior Project Manager will oversee large-scale glazing projects throughout the Austin and San Antonio markets. This leader will manage full project delivery—from contract award through closeout—while partnering closely with field leadership, engineering, fabrication teams, and general contractor partners. The role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can mentor junior staff, and is comfortable managing complex façade scopes.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee commercial glazing projects from kickoff through punch list

  • Manage schedules, budgets, submittals, RFIs, procurement, and change orders

  • Coordinate with engineering, drafting, and fabrication teams to maintain accuracy and schedule alignment

  • Partner with foremen and field crews to support installation planning and issue resolution

  • Lead client communication and represent the project team at meetings and site visits

  • Support mentoring of Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers

  • Ensure contract compliance, safety standards, and documentation accuracy


Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of commercial glazing project management experience

  • Strong technical understanding of curtain wall, storefront, window wall, and pre-glazed/stick-built systems

  • Experience coordinating with field teams and internal fabrication resources

  • Proficiency with project management platforms (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project)

  • Ability to read drawings, models, and shop details; Revit familiarity a plus

  • Strong communication, organization, and leadership capabilities


Day-to-Day:

  • Review drawings, submittals, and fabrication packages for accuracy and compliance

  • Meet with foremen and field staff to plan installation sequencing

  • Conduct site walks to monitor progress, safety, and constructability issues

  • Track budgets, cost events, and billing cycles

  • Manage correspondence with GC partners regarding progress, changes, and coordination items

  • Support internal meetings with engineering, procurement, and drafting teams


Compensation & Benefits:

  • $120,000 - $140,000 base salary + performance-based bonus (depending on experience)
