About the Client:

Our client is a family-oriented general contractor with a strong track record in commercial, institutional, and light medical projects. Known for taking on large-scale work including big-box retail and healthcare facilities, they value collaboration, dedication, and long-term growth.


Position Overview:

We are seeking two Project Managers to join the team in Lexington, SC. These PMs will manage diverse projects, handle day-to-day operations, and support estimating when needed. This is a hands-on role that requires versatility, computer proficiency, and a strong background in commercial construction.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead commercial, institutional, and light medical projects from kickoff through closeout

  • Oversee schedules, budgets, and subcontractor coordination

  • Support estimating team with bid preparation and cost input when needed

  • Process change orders and maintain accurate project documentation

  • Collaborate with clients, architects, and field staff to ensure successful delivery

  • Contribute to a team culture that values dedication and strong client service


Qualifications:

  • Background in commercial construction project management

  • Ability to “wear different hats” and step into estimating or project support as required

  • Strong computer skills and familiarity with construction software/programs

  • Effective communication and organizational skills


Day-to-Day:

  • Review project progress and coordinate with field staff and subcontractors

  • Support estimating with takeoffs or pricing during peak workloads

  • Manage change orders and update project records

  • Communicate with clients and stakeholders to provide timely updates

  • Maintain presence on-site to ensure schedules and standards are met


Compensation & Benefits:

  • Up to $110,000 base salary (depending on experience)
