About the Client:
Our client is a privately held general contractor with deep expertise in industrial and commercial construction. With a strong history in design-build delivery and long-standing subcontractor relationships (many spanning over 30 years), they are recognized for quality, trust, and repeat business. Their portfolio includes industrial plants, manufacturing facilities, self-storage, and automotive dealerships, with projects ranging from $1M to $30M.
Position Overview:
Our client is seeking two Project Managers to strengthen their growing team in Spartanburg, SC.

One will lead design-build industrial projects, working from preconstruction through delivery.

The other will oversee projects under the Construction Manager at Risk (CMR) delivery method, focusing on risk management, client communication, and strategic project execution.
Both positions require strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to manage projects with tact and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead industrial and commercial projects from kickoff through closeout

Manage design-build and CMR delivery processes as assigned

Coordinate with preconstruction, subcontractors, and clients to align scope and budget

Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and vendors built on trust and respect

Oversee schedules, change orders, budgets, and project documentation

Represent the company with professionalism in all client and subcontractor interactions
Qualifications:

Background in industrial or commercial project management

Ability to manage projects under design-build and/or CMR delivery methods

Strong communication skills with a collaborative, tactful approach

Capability to work with preconstruction and carry projects from start to finish

Existing client and subcontractor relationships a strong plus
Day-to-Day:
-
Oversee multiple industrial/manufacturing and commercial projects in the $1M–$30M range

Work closely with clients and preconstruction teams during early planning stages

Manage subcontractors and maintain long-term working relationships

Track budgets, schedules, and progress reporting

Foster repeat business through strong client relationship management
Compensation & Benefits:

$95,000–$120,000 base salary (depending on experience and performance)
